What drives me
I love technology not only in the way it works, but how it works with each other and with us. My passion and drive is from reading about and creating website functionality or the latest computer language developments and utilising this knowledge in my work every day. I absorb scientific documentaries as well as coding tutorials to keep abreast of the rapidly changing rules. This, I like to think, is of benefit to you, because if there is a problem or interesting request for a website’s construction, then I will happily commit myself to solve and come up with an effective solution.

What I work with, past and present
My development skills started out with basic HTML and Flash and this was before there was any real form of Flash ActionScript. Slowly over the years as ActionScript 1, 2 and 3 evoIved, it was possible to develop more complex and intuitive Flash projects. A couple of typical ones were an animated Photo Displayer, which loaded external images which were stored in external sources like Picasa and displaying them in the Flash environment. Another was building Flash video players that could either play YouTube videos or videos stored in any location.
Today, I am in more and more demand to build non Flash content using Javascript and jQuery and building sites especially for WordPress. Since I have branched into WordPress development I have found it to be both an inspiring and powerful tool to offer clients. It is fun to develop for and solutions to problems can always be found. WordPress is a powerful Blogging and Content Management System (CMS) and most of all WordPress is free and open source.
